My daughter and I are planning to hike Ashdown Gorge and are only in possession of one vehicle. Anyone know if it’ll be easy to hitch a ride or more likely 2 up to the top where we’ll leave our vehicle?
In rural Utah, I’ve had pretty good luck. Drivers are generally friendly and happy to help, though picking up two might be harder than just picking up one. That road sees a ton of traffic, be sure to have a well made sign that usually helps in my experience.

While I was waiting at the trailhead for our friends to do our shuttle I THINK that the was the company that showed up with bikers. I talked to the driver and he said they do Ashdown Gorge shuttles as well. If that isn’t the company, you might look for other Brian Head shuttle companies. I always have a TERRIBLE time hitchhiking, and prefer to just pay for a shuttle when I can find one.
