Just wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to get in/out of the tops of Arch and Texas Canyons (or Butts Canyon) in Cedar Mesa? Can’t find any established our known routes other than the road/trails in from the bottom. Thanks!
I don’t know of a non-technical route. I know some climbers fix from the Arch Canyon overlook area ( Roadside Attraction Arch Canyon Overlook - Cedar Mesa - Road Trip Ryan ) to reach some of the towers instead of driving the 4x4 road up the bottom. I believe this requires a bit of route finding and 2 fixed ropes (60 m and 30 m).
