May 20, 2025. Behunin Canyon, Zion NP. A lot of rain two days before, so lots of pools of water, especially lower in the canyon, and hundreds of bull frogs croaking. Plan on getting wet. It took 14 hours to complete. 3.5 hours to get to the pass, and then 10.5 hours to run the canyon. We had a few noobies with us, and we are all in our 50’s, so we took our time a bit. Sun up to sun down. Amazing.
Nice, Behunin is a pretty canyon. Sometimes overlooked I think because there are so many beautiful canyons in Zion.
Love to hear the bull frogs, unless I am trying to get to sleep… which is usually when they decide to be the loudest in my experience…
